ENROLLMENT

REGISTRATION FEE

A non-refundable registration fee of $50 is required with a completed enrollment to register your child. The registration fee is due two weeks prior to the student's first day at JLMLC.  The first week's tuition is due on the first day of enrollment.

 

WEEKLY FEES
·         A tuition agreement will be signed by each parent/guardian at the time of application and enrollment.
·         Tuition is paid for the upcoming week of service and may be paid weekly or biweekly.
·         Tuition statements are posted on cubbies each Wednesday.
·         Weekly fees are due on Friday the week before care is provided.
·         A late payment fee of $10 will be added to any account not paid by Monday morning the week care is provided.
·         Tuition may be paid by check, cash, or money order.
·         Families that pay fees through DHS must pay the hourly rate difference to JLMLC.

A 10% family discount will be given on the entire family bill when more than one child is enrolled full-time: 4 or 5 days a week

ADDITIONAL CHILD CARE

  • A fee of $5 per 15 minutes will be charged for each child remaining after 6:00pm.
     

ILLNESS ABSENCES

  • No credit refund will be given for absences of up to five consecutive days (the attendance was already planned for that day).
  • Half of the normal weekly fee will be credited or refunded if a doctor’s restriction note is presented for an absence of six or more consecutive days.

VACATIONS

  • A minimum of two weeks written notice must be given before a child takes a vacation.
  • For each calendar year, each family will receive the number of days their children are enrolled.  For example, if your child is enrolled 5 days/week, you will receive 5 full rate vacation days and 10 half-rate days.  If your child is enrolled 4 days/week, you will receive 4 full rate vacation days and 8 half-rate days, etc. 
  • After the full- and half-rate days are used up, the full tuition rate will be charged. 
  • Families following a school-year schedule (due to a parent's employment with a school district) will sign a contract at the beginning of each school year detailing vacation days/breaks and summers.  

HOLIDAYS OR CLOSED DAYS

Weekly fees are set by taking our projected annual expenses and dividing this figure equally over 52 weeks. Weekly fees will therefore not be reduced during weeks that include a holiday or other closed days. These days can, however, be taken as part of your five free days. If you have used all five "free" vacation days, days we are closed may be considered half-price vacation days - only if the day prior or following is also taken as a vacation day. Both free vacation days and half-price vacation days require two weeks notice.
