The members of our staff...

* are Christians who have both the desire and the gifts to share the love and joy of Jesus Christ.

* meet MI state requirements for lead teachers, assistant teachers, staff, and volunteers.

* complete at least twelve clock hours of training in continuing education each year.

* have CPR, first aid, and blood born pathogen training.

Miss Rachel

Center Director
 

Rachel graduated from Martin Luther College in 2008 with a double major in Elementary and Early Childhood Education.  She holds a bachelors of science degree in education with an emphases in music and language arts, a Minnesota state K-6 teaching license with an emphasis in language arts, and a Michigan state provisional state teaching license.  Rachel is currently attending Eastern Michigan University in the evenings for her Masters in Early Childhood Education and has an expected graduation date of December 2012.  This degree will also provide her the ZA (early chidlhood) endorsement on her Michigan state teaching licence.  Rachel is also a member of NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) to stay current on trends and research in early childhood education.

Miss Laura 

Infant Lead Teacher

Laura has 15 years experience working in the child care field.  During that time she ran her own in-home child care twice.  Laura is currently working on fullfilling the standards that the state of Michigan has set for lead teachers.

Miss Tiffany H

Toddler Lead Teacher

Tiffany recently completed her education at Jackson Community College.  After student teaching at Jesus Loves Me Learning Center she knows the students and is comfortable jumping in to the lead teacher position!
